Vacuum Loading
An integral vacuum pump creates a negative pressure in the granulating bowl. A hose with lance that is attached to the bowl is inserted into totes or drums to suck the product into the granulator. This is an easy, contained way to charge the granulator.

Contained Drum/Tote Feeding
A variety of custom ports can be mounted on the lid to mate to customers totes or drums and permit contained feeding of the mixer. A MAGNALIFT tote lifter can be used to pick up the product and rotate it over the mixer.

Nitrogen Inerting System
Nitrogen inerting systems with optional in-line oxygen analyzers can be provided for inerting the mixer when working with explosive compounds.

Vacuum Drying with Gas Assist
The mixer can be equipped with a vacuum pump that creates a negative pressure in the vessel to allow liquid in the product to convert to a gas easier. The jacket is normally heated to assist the process of flashing. Gas tubes running behind the impeller blades can deliver gas into the vessel to draw the liquid out of the product. The drying system permits granulating and drying in one vessel for processing high potency or solvent granulations.

Automated Liquid Delivery
Granulating liquid can be delivered into the mixer using a variety of pumping systems or pressurized vessels. The liquid delivery can be automatically controlled for precise and repeatable liquid addition.

End Point Detection
A variety of end point detection packages are available to display mixer endpoint using Power, Torque or Amperage.

Integral Wet Milling System
A Granumill wet milling system can be mounted on the base of the mixer for wet milling the material as it comes out of the discharge of the mixer. The use of the hydraulic drive system permits continuous feeding to the wet mill for more precise particle sizing.

Bowl Water Jackets
The bowl water jacket feeds chilled or hot water to the bottom of the bowl near the center, which is then directed by baffles radially from the center up the side of the jacket. This provides uniform heating and cooling of product and eliminates hot/cold spots.

WIP Systems
The addition of spray nozzles to the automatic cleaning system permits fully automated washing of the mixer.
