Product that is high shear granulated is discharged out of the mixer into a mill where it is sized and then vacuumed into a fluid bed dryer. The product is immediately fluidized as it enters the dryer so it does not have a chance to re-agglomerate. Wet milling and vacuum loading has a number of benefits including automated transfer and shorter drying times. It can also produce a more spherical granule that flows better and eliminates the need to dry mill the product.
