FLUID AIR President Martin P. Bender has announced a major expansion of the PharmPro Services division of the company.

PharmPro Services provides feasibility testing, process/product development, and small scale manufacturing from an FDA inspected cGMP facility located within corporate headquarters in Aurora, Illinois. The expansion of PharmPro includes a major building addition to house production-scale solid dosage manufacturing equipment.

Products developed on bench scale, research-level basis can now be scaled up to pilot plant - biobatch quantities and then transferred under the same roof to an entirely separate processing suite for manufacture. Building design considerations give complete protection against cross-contamination while eliminating costly and time consuming site change requirements.

The FDA, EPA and DEA registered facilities are designed to specialize in immediate, modified or sustained release products requiring solvent processing. The manufacturing scale suite is built for Schedule II to V - Controlled Substances.
