Fluid Air, Inc. is a provider of solid dosage process equipment, process control software, engineering services, and contract processing services (www.pharmproservices.com) for the development and production of pharmaceutical, biotechnical, specialty chemical, and specialty food products. Products produced on the Company's equipment are for ultimate consumer consumption worldwide.

The company was incorporated in 1983 and is situated in a 40,000 square foot facility of which 20,000 square feet is devoted to PharmPro, a "state of the art" contract manufacturing facility featuring equipment to produce modified release solid dosage forms.

Fluid Air is an innovator in its field of solid dosage processing equipment and controls, and won the "Innovations in Pharmaceutical Processing Award." Our specialties include high shear granulation, fluid bed drying/granulating/coating, and size reduction.

The Company is unique in that it is also a batch process control software developer. It has received a patent on its software which is trademarked FACTROL® . The latest release of FACTROL® meets CFR 21 Part 11 requirements.

The Company's engineering services are provided by three groups: Project Engineering, Field Engineering, and Process Engineering. The Project Engineering group provides customers with project related engineering information including custom equipment designs, facility layouts, P&IDs, utility information, and installation drawings. The Field Engineering group provides contract installation, start-up, commissioning, qualification, training, and on-going maintenance services. The Process Engineering group performs process evaluation studies, formulation development, scale-up, technology transfer, and theoretical/hands-on process training.
